Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you could work with bleeding-edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks, and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups, and training clients on applications. 

We are seeking a backend developer to build and maintain APIs and services that support our web and mobile applications. You'll work with our product owners, project managers, business analysts, developers, and DevOps to shape and deliver your solution from ideation to production.

What you will be doing:

• Designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements.
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.

What you will need:

• 5 years experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
• Developed REST APIs and backend services with NodeJS and JavaScript
• Understanding of data persistence using file storage, Cosmos DB, and cache management.
• Knowledge of any version control tool such as GIT, etc.
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
• Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
• A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with Azure-based applications and containerized environments
• An understanding of microservices
• Message queuing, such as Kafka
• Component-based frontend experience with Angular, HTML, and CSS.
